The U.S. Club Nationals have completed.
Congratulations to Wisconsin (Fraboni) and Minnesota
(O'Leary) for winning the men's and women's championships,
respectively. Thanks to all participants for a terrific week
of competition and to all the volunteers who made it happen.

Hamilton College & the UCC sent 2 teams
to the College Curling USA nationals this year.
Congratulations to Team Buff (Tim Currier, Chris Kline,
Lindsay Shankman, Tom Helmuth) who took the silver in
Division 4, and to Team Blue (Dave Hamilton, Tom Irvin, Yuqi
Mao, Katherine Alser) who won their 3rd consecutive gold
medal at the competition, this year in Division 2.
Congratulations to Utica 3, (Jason
Brien, Alex Ryan, Jason Golubski, Craig DeCastro), who won
the 70th annual Francis Dykes bonspiel.

The stones on all six sheets have been
reground to improve curl. We now have 3-4 feet of curl
and good finish on each sheet. Enjoy!

Regional bonspiel. Hamilton Blue (D. Hamilton, T. Irvin, Y. Mao,
K. Alser) took the A Event, & Hamilton Buff (T. Helmuth, A.
Harris, D. Barany, L. Shankman) made it to the A quarter
finals).
The Utica Curling Club will host
the 70th Annual Francis Dykes Memorial Bonspiel for men with 5 and
fewer years curling experience, February 12-15, 2009.
